The info-graphic figures are parts of assignments that I created in school. The letter logos are also a class assignment; however they are traced photographs and pictures. For example; the “J” is a traced picture of an image of the Batman movie in which Heath Ledger played the Joker. The swords were traces of a picture of a rapier. The helicopters are a trace of a picture of a side-view of a standard helicopter; as is the car. The dragon is a trace of a picture of a painting of the South American Deity Quetzalcoatl, and the “L” is a traced picture of the statue of Liberty.
Tracing objects and pictures in creating logo type art was a very fun thing for me to do and ranks right up there as one of my favorite mediums in Graphic Design. All of these pieces were also fully done in Adobe Illustrator. I also enjoy working with Photoshop for these types of things; however, Illustrator has abilities which Photoshop does not in creating such artwork, in my opinion.
